Basic Photography Course Initiative For The Hearing-Impaired People
Our Initiative:
‘A silent way to learn’ is an initiative introduced exclusively for the hearing impaired people as a mark of International Sign Language Day. As part of this initiative, we have introduced a basic photography course for the underprivileged hearing-impaired community.

The Objective of This Initiative
We have expected to target around 50 students across Chennai for the course. The students will get technical mentorship from the facilities along with a sign language interpreter for better communication. We will provide both theory and practical interactional knowledge sessions which gives confidence and opportunity to learn, practice photography in an organized way.
Students attending the course can significantly increase stability in identifying and assessing their talents in the field of photography.
Our goal through this initiative to help the students in increasing their stability and also help prepare themselves as independent photographers.
We can’t depend more on these students for fees and equipment as the initiative is for the hearing impaired students. Hence, we would want your support to get funds for material expenses and purchasing cameras for the student’s practical use.
